What is Micro-Needling?
Micro-needling is a dermaroller procedure (RejuvaPen) that uses small needles to prick the skin. The purpose of treatment is to generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin.
Micro-needling is mostly used on the face and may treat various scars, wrinkles, and large pores.
The Treatment.
Clinical studies have shown that micro-needling produces channels in the dermis which sufficiently stimulate the bodies natural defences to repair and produce concentrated amounts of collagen and elastin to the treated areas of skin.
The results in the skins thickness increasing by up to 80% and result in smoothing scars, visibly reducing stretch marks and drastically diminishing wrinkles and pigmentation.
We recommend Dermalux as an add on treatment to after micro-needling treatments to enhance the collagen and elastin growth which also reduces the redness and downtime.
