What Are Enzymes and What Does Enzyme Therapy Do?

Enzymes are living substances that regulate health and work with certain minerals in the body to form a natural system of antioxidants that fight corrosive, free radicals. DMK Alkaline Wash Treatment

Alkaline works by rapidly increasing the skin’s pH level from around 4.7 to 5.75 up to 12 — all in just a few minutes. This rapid increase in pH level dissolves facial hair and dead skin cells, revealing softer, smoother, brighter skin. The DMK Alkaline Wash system is a remarkable treatment for all areas of the face, designed to reduce fine, downy hair. This type of hair is not suitable to be treated with IPL or Laser because it has no colour for the laser to target. Treatments will reduce regrowth rate, it will become slower and the hair will weaken; usually resulting in hair loss over time.

The treatment is completely pain-free, however in some cases the area can appear red and warm which is normal and will subside after a short period of time. Unlike Dermaplaning, which uses a blade to remove hair, Alkaline Wash dissolves the hair making it 100% certain that hair growth will not be stimulated after treatment. A course of 6 treatments is advised with 10 to 14 days in-between treatments. Patch test required.
